TT RiGO – Near-field Goniophotometer for Lamps and Luminaries

Descrizione

Precise goniophotometer measurements

Based on the imaging photometer LMKs different photometric parameters of luminous and radiating objects can be captured by means of the Precise goniophotometer measurements RiGO:

  • Luminous intensity distribution (EULUMDAT, IES)
  • Ray data records for computer simulations (ASAP, SPEOS)
  • Luminance distributions from different viewing angles (LMK LabSoft)

The goniometers are dimensioned according to the luminaries to be measured. The systems can be used in the Near-field of luminaries/radiators by the capture of local and angle-resolved luminance distributions. Hence, there is a considerable reduction of space needed with respect to laboratory rooms. The measuring objects are measured in positions where they are used.

RIGO801 – LED

Goniophotometer for measuring ray data of LEDs and other small light sources

     RIGO801 – LED - Precise goniophotometer measurements | Photoanalytical.com

This compact goniophotometer has been specially designed for the precise measurement of ray data from small light sources such as LEDs, OLEDs and modules. The positional accuracy of the rays is 0.01 mm, so that even very small LEDs can be measured with high quality.

As with all RiGO801 goniophotometers, the luminous intensity distribution and the luminous flux are also measured here. Spectral multi-channel measurements are supported with the filter wheel version (option) of our measuring cameras. Goniospectrometric measurements are carried out with a spectroradiometer (option).

The ray data are stored in the TechnoTeam file format TTR. For the conversion into all common ray data file formats we provide the free software Converter 801.

The goniophotometers of the RiGO801 – L series measure light sources and luminaires with a diameter of up to 2200 mm. The DUT is not moved (Type – C compliant, IES LM-79-19). Since no large measuring distance is required (near – field measuring principle), small laboratory rooms are sufficient.

The device models RiGO801 – L are available in the standard sizes (diameter of measuring volume) 1400 mm, 1500 mm, 1800 mm and 2200 mm. The selection of the device depends essentially on the product range to be measured and the size of the available laboratory space.

Luminous intensity

The luminous intensity distribution, the luminous flux and, for light sources larger than 100 mm, also ray data are available as measurement results. Spectral and colorimetric data can be measured with a spectroradiometer (option). The evaluation of luminance and color images with the LMK Labsoft software enables measurements for glare assessments, for example.
